The TA Girls capped off their regular season with a 45-31 win against their rivals on Friday night. TA jumped out to a 15-0 lead early in the first quarter, only to have Biddeford fight back and cut the lead to three points by halftime. The girls were not to be denied on this night however, as they were playing for many different goals. The Seniors had a great night to finish off their careers in Linnell Gymnasium, as Lauren Leskowsky, Hannah Murphy and Olivia Shaw, were all honored prior to the game. The girls also capped off a 9-0 record at home, something that is believed to have never been accomplished by a TA girls team (we're still checking on that one). Either way, being undefeated at home is a great achievement. These seniors have been the foundation of a remarkable rebuilding project of the TA girls basketball program. The 16-2 record and #2 seed in Class A West ranks as the third best regular season in the history of our program! Congratulations girls!
