It might have been the wrong night for Noble to come into Linnell Gymnasium, last Friday night, as the Thornton Academy Girls basketball team was intent on making up for the first loss of the season just a few days earlier. With these two teams being at the opposite ends of the standings, this was going to be a tough for the Noble Knights. TA jumped out to a 20-2 lead in the first quarter and continued their relentless half-court pressure on their way to a 71-10 victory. Everyone on the team contributed in the victory, highlighted by Ashley Howe's career-high 20 points. The team had over 20 assists as they shared the ball very well and focused on their offensive execution.
