TA Survives the Red Storm 44-29

Friday night was a tough game for the TA Girls as they struggled early to get some offensive tempo.  Scarborough put up a tough fight as TA lead 18-14 at halftime.  The second half saw TA take control as they outscored the Red Storm 26-15.  Ashley Howe netted a career high 19 points, in a great all-around effort, and Katie McCrum added 8 points.  With the win, the girls improved their record to 8-0 and now the focus shifts to a rematch with Catherine McAuley on Tuesday.

Reminder...the Thornton Academy Girls Basketball Fundraiser with the Maine Red Claws is THIS Saturday!  It's a 7:00pm game and we need to fill our sections full of fans!  In addition, we'd like to have as many people as possible wear their Hoops For Hayley t-shirts!
