Senior Night... A Huge Success!

The TA Girls team capped off a great Senior Night by beating the Scarborough Red Storm 49-42.  TA trailed at the half by 1, but regrouped and sent the visitors back home with a loss.  Senior Victoria Lux made her last game at Linnell Gymnasium a memorable one as she scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.  Ashley Howe added 10 and Abby Strickland chipped in with 7, as she continues to battle back from her lower leg injury.

We want to thank all of our girls youth basketball players in attendance on Tuesday night.  Your support means a lot to the team and it's so nice to see all of you wearing your Hoops For Hayley t-shirts.  At halftime, Coach Marston presented Alison Desjardins (Hayley's mom) with a check for $10,000, representing all the money we've helped raise this season!  In addition, the team gave her sister Maddie, a signed game ball from the McAuley win (our Hoops For Hayley night).

It was an emotional night for all in attendance and we're so thankful for the support we receive on and off the court.  Our girls are very appreciative of everything they have and want to represent TA in the best way possible.

Now on to the Battle of the Bridge!!!
