This past Saturday, the TA Girls Basketball team took a trip to Waltham, MA to see former TA player, Victoria Lux and her Bentley teammates take on Assumption. This particular game was also a fundraiser for the Bentley team, as they had their 'Play4Kay' day, in honor of legendary college basketball coach, Kay Yow, who battled cancer and was a great spokesperson for the cause. Using funds raised from the HOOPS FOR HOPE campaign, the TA Girls Basketball program donated $1,000 to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Giving back to help others is an important part of this program and these girls are learning and enjoying this valuable lesson.
